Embassy hours over festive season and due to Federal Council decisions of 17 December 2021

Please note that the South African Embassy in Bern will be closed, in line with Head office instruction from 10:00 Friday 24 December 2021 until 3 January 2022.
Further, in line with the "Work from Home" obligation decided on 17 December 2021 by the Federal Council, the Embassy will only have essential services personnel on duty effective from 22 - 23 December 2021. On these two days the Embassy hours will be from 09:30-13:00. The switchboard will not be operational before or after these hours.
Over the period 22 December 2021 - 6 January 2022, urgent consular matters should please be directed to the South African Consulate in Geneva.

The staff at the South African Embassy in Bern would like to wish you and your loved ones a blessed and safe festive season and a prosperous 2022.
